Hydrolats also referred to as hydrosols are the by-product of essential oil distillation. They are obtained from aromatic and other plants by steam distillation. During this process the water-soluble compounds from the plant is absorbed and retained in the water giving us a pure, natural and safe alternatives to essential oils.  Hydrolats are gentle and safe to use on babies and the elderly.
